Who is Mongo?

Eric Mongo Robbins is a dreamer with his head in the clouds, and his feet firmly rooted in the ground. It’s quite a stretch. His roots can be traced back to the
Mongo received a formal education in entrepreneurship and economics in the 1990’s. He received an informal education in conservation from many sources but he credits his grandmother most with tuning his eyes and ears into the subject. Mongo has worked in journalism, public relations, and commercial real estate. He even drove 18-wheelers up and down California’s breadbasket, the Central Valley, hauling tomatoes that probably ended up on your dinner table or, if you got too close, on your windshield!
So what qualifies Mongo to get up on his soapbox and tell you how to conserve? That’s the beauty of this thing…nothing! He’s just like you. Mongo holds no special degrees or licenses in the environmental sciences. Mongo is not exactly on a mission from God. He just wants to help people see that they have the ability to make a difference, which can be done without sacrificing too much of their time or money. In fact, you often save time and money by conserving!
Mongo’s most humbling moment was…stealing bubblegum from the supermarket and having his grandmother pull him back inside by the ear to return it.
The role religion plays in his life…God, the creative universe, the soul…all men have access if only they dare.
25 years from now, Mongo sees himself…championing the NASCAR Solar Moon Racing Team and pit-stopping at some Martian greasy spoon for Pluto potato skins and a cheeseburger.
